A typical coaching session lasts 45-60 minutes and is conducted via video call. During the session, we'll focus on your goals, explore challenges, and develop actionable steps. I'll ask thought-provoking questions to help you gain clarity and insights. The conversation is confidential, non-judgmental, and centered on your needs and objectives.
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals and circumstances. As a trainee coach, I offer at least 3 free sessions to get you started. Many clients find that 6-12 sessions over 3-6 months provide significant results. We'll regularly review progress and adjust as needed. Some clients continue coaching for longer periods to address new goals or maintain momentum.
Coaching focuses on present circumstances and future goals, while therapy often addresses past traumas and mental health issues. Coaches work with mentally healthy individuals seeking growth and achievement, whereas therapists diagnose and treat psychological conditions. Coaching is action-oriented and forward-looking, while therapy may involve deeper emotional healing. Both are valuable services that serve different purposes.
Light preparation can enhance your coaching experience. Consider reflecting on what you want to focus on, progress since the last session, and any insights or challenges that have emerged. I may suggest reflection questions or exercises between sessions. However, don't worry if you come unprepared—we can always determine a valuable focus for our time together.
Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of the coaching relationship. I maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information shared during our sessions. The only exceptions would be if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law. I adhere to the ethical guidelines of professional coaching organizations and will discuss confidentiality in detail during our first session.
Coaching might be right for you if you're motivated to create change, open to self-reflection, and ready to take action. It's ideal for those seeking clarity, wanting to overcome obstacles, or pursuing specific goals. The best way to determine if coaching is a good fit is to schedule a free discovery call. During this conversation, we can discuss your needs, explore how coaching works, and decide if we're a good match for working together.
As a trainee coach, I offer at least 3 free coaching sessions to help you experience the benefits of coaching while I develop my skills. These sessions are full coaching experiences—not sales conversations—and follow the same structure and approach as paid sessions. The main difference is that I'm still in training and building my experience. If we continue beyond the free sessions, paid coaching would involve a more formal agreement and potentially more advanced coaching techniques as I progress in my certification.
Coaching sessions are typically conducted via video call using platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. This allows for face-to-face interaction regardless of geographic location. I'll send you a link before our scheduled session time. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a private, quiet space where you can speak freely without interruptions. If video isn't possible, phone sessions can be arranged as an alternative.
Life happens, and I understand that schedules sometimes need to change. I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for rescheduling when possible. You can easily reschedule through my online booking system or by contacting me directly. If you need to cancel with less notice due to an emergency, please let me know as soon as you can, and we'll work together to find a solution.
